Dr. Shilpa Patwardhan’s workshop on ‘Coping Skills’ and her course materials and explanation regarding Rational Vs Irrational thinking, Coping Strategies, Stressors (Short Term/ Long Term) was a hit today.
Perhaps 14 individuals and hence 14 families found some new ideas and some empathy and understanding during the workshop.
We all agreed that these workshops are the need of the times.
Thanks, Shilpa, Mugdha and MMHK for a very professionally conducted session in an absolutely warm घरगुती environment. There was a lot to take away from the workshop. The handouts and activities will be good mental and emotional fodder for the next few weeks.
The peer group was just perfect - all coming from a similar cultural surrounding definitely contributed to making this an even more enriching experience.
Looking forward to more such sessions.
Thanks Shilpa for conducting such a wonderful workshop. Having brainstorm activies in-between the session was really good. As we all are going through the same mental situation because of covid-19, this workshop was very helpful for coping with this situation. I look forward for smiliar session for teenagers. I had great time in workshop and it was really nice to meet all Maharashtra mandal friends.
